FACULTY OF MARKETING AND OUR STEADY STEP INTO THE NEW PHASE




Faculty of Marketing was established in November 2014. After nearly 9 years of building and development, the Faculty has undergone many changes in the organization, but the most notable milestone since its establishment is in our personnel happened in early 2023.


At the beginning of 2023, there have been many special events which shows the Faculty’s readiness to transform into a promising new period. With the desire to spend more time on her personal life, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pham Thi Lan Huong - Former Dean of Faculty of Marketing for the period 2014 - 2022, requested to resign from work and was accepted by the University. The period of 8 years dedicated to building and leading the Faculty has made her a respected Dean, who has a warm heart and influence in the hearts of all lecturers in and outside the Faculty as well as generations of students majoring in Marketing. Also at this time, with professional competence, management and active contributions throughout the early days of the Faculty's establishment, Dr. Ngo Thi Khue Thu - Former Vice Dean of Faculty of Marketing - has been trusted and assigned the role of Dean of Faculty of Marketing, continuing to lead the Faculty in the new period.


Additionally, the Faculty of Marketing is also very excited to welcome the return of new Doctor Truong Dinh Quoc Bao and PhD student Tran Nguyen Phuong Minh after a period of study and research abroad. Therefore, the staff of the Faculty continuously develop both in quantity and quality. Up to now, the Faculty of Marketing has had a team of highly qualified lecturers including 100% of lecturers who have been trained in the field of Marketing at advanced educational institutions in the world, including 1 Associate Professor , 8 PhDs, 2 PhD students, 4 Masters, 3 teaching assistants and 1 main Specialist. Currently, the University is continuing to recruit lecturers to supplement human resources for the new developments of the Faculty.


The increasing number of PhDs and Masters graduates from abroad, being fostered and trained in-depthly will help raise the quality of teaching and training Marketing significantly year by year. More specifically, the change of the core leadership force will definitely bring a new breeze to the organization; with the spirit of inheriting and promoting the established values "Inspire Enthusiasm - Ignite Passion" and the capacity of the successor leader, it will be a strong and solid move of the Faculty of Marketing since the spring 2023.
