Rapid planning project of the United Nations for Human Resources ( UN-HABITAT)


RAPID PLANNING PROJECT OF THE UNITED NATIONS FOR HUMAN RESOURCES (UN-HABITAT)

Marketing students and three members of IUWA Research Institute (Germany) participated in the Rapid Planning project - funded by the United Nations and the German Federal Ministry of Education, aiming to improve the living environment for Danang people. 


The whole group was asked for going to the households to survey the reality of the situation and living standards of the households throughout Da Nang. Members of the delegation include Mr. Thomas - Executive Director of IUWA, Mr. and Mrs. Felix and Alice, they had the responsibility to take the measurement of housing indexes of households. 



In addition, Ms. Tram and Mr. Lam - two experts from Danang Economic Development and Research Institute also took part in. The research results of the Faculty of Marketing' students act as a small part of a large research project, using to create a map based on household incomes, and Da Nang with Kigali (Rwanda), Assiut (Egypt). ), Frankfurt (Germany) which are 4 cities in the world selected to participate in the 'Quick Planning' project.
