The student conference on scientific research at the faculty level in 2016

On the morning of May 17, the Faculty of Finance held the conference " Student Conference on Scientific Research at the Faculty level for the academic year 2015-2016" at rooms G202 and G205 with the participation of students of class 38K16 CLC and other students of class 39 belongs to the general class. As an annual academic activity of the Faculty, the successful organization of the Conference is considered an important task for lecturers and students of the Faculty of Finance.    



With the attention of the leaders of the Faculty, lecturers as well as the passion of students to explore, research topics are increasingly abundant, diversified, and the quality of topics is increasingly improved.

After a period of listening, criticizing and working seriously, the teachers’ selected 05 best topics among the topics presented for further reporting Student Conference on Scientific Research at the School level. The list of selected topics includes:  

1. Subject: "Ownership structure and liquidity of securities" - student Nguyen Trinh Minh Khoa   

2. Subject: "The influence of foreign investors on stock price volatility: Experimental research on Vietnam's stock market" by student group Nguyen Dam Dang Khoa, Pham Thuy Thao Nguyen, Pham Thi Tu Uyen.    

3. Topic: "Influence of merger and acquisition information disclosure on company value: An empirical research in Vietnam" by student group Vu Nguyen Thi Hau, Tran Thi Thanh Thao, Le Hien Phuong, Truong Thi Loan Truyen, Tran Thi Cam.    

4. Topic"The impact of human capital and social capital of the Board of Directors on the performance of listed companies in Vietnam" by student group Nguyen Vu Bich Lan, Phan Thi Mai Trinh, Truong Hoang Long.    

5. Topic: “The role of the board of directors in the company's performance. An experimental study in Vietnam” by student Tran Khanh Hung.
