Extracurricular Session with Ms. Vu Thi Thu Huong, Chief Financial Officer at Schneider Electric It, Indochina Region.

On the afternoon of April 27, students of the Faculty of Finance had an extra-curricular meeting with Ms. Vu Thi Thu Huong, Chief Financial Officer Schneider Electric IT, Indochina region.

At the meeting, the students were introduced to the learning and working process of Ms. Vu Thi Thu Huong – an alumnus of the Danang University of Economics. Before becoming the Chief Financial Officer of Schneider Electric IT, Ms. Huong had experience working at two famous multinational corporations of Switzerland and UK. Following that, Ms. Vu Thi Thu Huong enthusiastically talked about many financial management issues in practice such as how to set business goals and implementation plans, how to manage working capital and cost, as well as tax and audit related matters. These are very useful knowledge and experiences that supplement the theoretical foundation that students have learned at school. Moreover, Ms. Huong also shared her experiences about how to build a successful career, she also emphasized the importance of soft skills such as computer skills and language proficiency. Students of the faculty were happy to welcome Ms. Huong, and engaged actively with Ms. Huong during the session.
