Exchange on research cooperation prospects with Quesbec Trois-Rivieres University (Canada)
On the morning of August 22, Professor Ayi Garviel Ayayi - Head of the Faculty of Economics - Finance, University of Québec Trois-Rivières (UQTR, Canada) had a meeting and discussed the possibility of research cooperation with the University of Economics - The University of Danang. Receiving the delegation were representatives of the Rector Board: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh - Vice Rector of the University, PhD. Dang Tung Lam - Head of Finance, PhD. Ninh Thi Thu Thuy - Head of Economics Faculty, and PhD. Dang Huu Man - Deputy Head of Science and International Cooperation Department.
At the meeting, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh introduced the university's research achievements in recent years. With the aspiration to become a leading research university in Vietnam, UE-UD has always actively cooperated in research with universities around the world. UE-UD also shared some ideas and expressed the prospect of research cooperation with Québec Trois-Rivières University in the future. Representatives from Québec Trois-Rivières University, Prof. Ayi Gavriel Ayayi was very excited to meet and have an interview with the Rector Board of the University of Economics. Professor said that the University of Quebec will also share ideas and scientific research papers with UE-UD to support each other in the research field. The two schools affirmed that they will continue to closely connect and support each other to develop cooperation in the future. Before that, Prof. Ayi Gavriel Ayayi also reported on a symposium with the topic “The Determinants of microcredit interest rates'' with lecturers and students of the Faculty of Finance and the Faculty of Economics. The report was very exciting and attracted many positive comments and feedback from lecturers and students
