Taking free short courses in Canada, opportunity for UE-UD students

After the business trip to the US, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh - Vice President of the University continued to visit and work with partners in Canada, the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM) and the University of Quebec at Trois Rivieres (UQTR), marking a new step of cooperation in many aspects and bringing many attractive studying abroad opportunities for Economics students.

At the University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM), representatives of the University of Economics met with the Rector and representatives of Faculties. The University of Quebec in Montreal said that it would be willing to accept lecturers from the University of Economics - the University of Danang to do scientific research and improve their qualifications, and at the same time, there will be incentives for lecturers to study PhD with a support level of 15,000 USD/year. In addition, representatives of the two sides also worked on the following topics: promoting 2+2 linkages in the fields of Financial Management, Business Administration, Foreign Trade, Marketing, etc., and training for a Master of Business Administration.

Also in Canada, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh visited and worked with the University of Quebec in Trois Rivieres (UQTR). The meeting was attended by the Rector of UQTR, the leaders of the Faculty, the Director of the Graduate Program and representatives of the Training Department. Some of the content that the two sides exchanged included co-organizing the Marketing Seminar; the two partners will soon deploy a 2+2 affiliate program for the following majors: Economics, Finance and Marketing; discuss training Doctor of Business Administration. Besides, there is a short-term student exchange program to create opportunities for learners of the two partners to have interesting experiences about the training environment, explore the local culture, etc., these courses are completely free of charge. UQTR said it will send students to the University of Economics in 2018 to study and practice. With the cooperation with the University of Quebec in the Trois Rivieres and Montreal, Economics students have the opportunity to experience the cutting-edge academic environment in Canada for the first time. It can be seen that with efforts in international cooperation, UE-UD students have more and more opportunities to approach the international academic environment in Da Nang.
