CONGRATULATIONS TO THE STUDENT OF THE FINANCE DEPARTMENT FOR WINNING SECOND PRIZE IN THE NATIONAL STUDENT RESEARCH COMPETITION ORGANIZED BY THE MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING IN 2023.

The National Student Research Award (also known as the Ministry-level SVNCKH Award) is organized by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations (Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technological Creativity - VIFOTEC), and the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union. This year, the Ministry of Education and Training assigned the responsibility to University of Economics - The University of Da Nang, in coordination with the Department of Science and Technology and Environment, to host the competition from the Preliminary round (August 2023) to the Final round (November 2023). The SVNCKH Award at the Ministry level in 2023 attracted nearly 450 research topics from students nationwide during the academic year 2022-2023. Based on this, 85 research topics from students of 45 universities and colleges participated in the final round held from November 8th to 10th at the University of Da Nang.

On November 10th, the Summary Ceremony and the awarding of the Science and Technology Awards for students in universities in 2023 took place.

The Faculty of Finance had 01 project winning Second Prize at the Ministry level, specifically:

Title: "Impact of climate policies on the issuance of green bonds" (Project code: 239-502)

Student: Nguyen Tai Thuong Canh

Advisor: Associate Professor Dr. Dang Tung Lam (The Faculty of Finance)

At the award ceremony, University of Economics - The University of Da Nang had a total of 03 SVNCKH groups participating in the Ministry-level final round at Council No. 5 - Social Sciences and all of them won Second Prize at the Ministry level. At the same time, the Department of Science and International Cooperation - University of Economics also received a Certificate of Merit from the Minister of Education and Training for outstanding achievements in organizing SVNCKH activities in the academic year 2022-2023.

Once again, congratulations to University of Economics - The University of Da Nang in general and the Faculty of Finance in particular for their outstanding achievements in student scientific research. Hopefully, young scientist Nguyen Tai Thuong Canh will continue to shine on his scientific research journey and career path, as well as inspire other students to continue these glorious achievements!
