27/01/2022

In order to promote the development of a new chapter, just before the year of the Tiger in 2022, the Department of Science and International Cooperation gladly welcomes Dr. Bui Huynh to become the Deputy Head of the department.

Dr. Bui Huynh Nguyen, currently a lecturer at the Faculty of International Business, holds a Master of Business Administration from Humboldt State University (USA), a Master of Science with highest honors from the University of Cardiff (United Kingdom), and a Doctorate in Economics, majoring in Marketing from the University of Cardiff (United Kingdom).

“For students, scientific research is gradually becoming a vital skill. With the explosion of science and technology, companies, businesses, and organizations are flooded with information and data about partners, customers... They want their employees to be able to assess and handle data in a scientific manner in order to address their current problems and make future goals. In the digital age, scientific research is critical for students to succeed."

“The vastness of the universe is flattening". The trend of countries and organizations banding together and cooperating is growing, particularly in the current epidemic setting. Global problems require international solutions. Universities must adequately educate their students for this trend. Therefore, international cooperation in education, teaching, and research serves as the foundation and driving force to promote the connection, sharing, and mutually solving practical problems of the whole society.

Dr. Bui Huynh Nguyen's perspective on scientific research and international cooperation is well suited to the Department of Science and International Cooperation's long-term development goals.

The COVID-19 pandemic has presented many new obstacles in the last two years, but it has also provided several chances for scientific research, technology transfer, and international cooperation. The pandemic has demonstrated that the previous cooperative strategy is no longer appropriate for promoting digital transformation in scientific management and online activities. Dr. Bui Huynh Nguyen is a valuable contribution to the Department of Science and International Cooperation to continue pursuing the strategic goals of science and technology development and international cooperation in the coming time.

The Department of Science and International Cooperation warmingly welcomes Dr. Bui Huynh Nguyen and wishes him the best in his new position.
