Recap of the 3rd International Conference on Marketing In the Connected Age - MICA-2022

On this morning, October 1, 2022, at the University of Economics - University of Danang, the 3rd International Conference on Marketing In the Connected Age (MICA-2022) was officially occured with several dynamic working sessions.

 

MICA, which is a biennial international scientific conference, is a channel for exchanging and sharing academic knowledge. It also aims at strengthening exchanges and cooperation in scientific research among leading scientists within the country and around the world. University of Economics - University of Danang is honored to have London South Bank University (UK), Yokohama National University (Japan), National Economics University (Vietnam), University of Finance - Marketing (Vietnam) and Da Nang Young Entrepreneurs Association (Vietnam) successfully co-organize the MICA-2022.

 

With the theme MICA 2022: “MARKETING IN THE NEW NORMAL: LEVERAGING DIGITAL POWER”, the conference received many well-qualified research papers that mentioned the latest innovation trends, prospects and concerns in the field of Marketing, specially Digital Marketing. In particular, the MICA-2022 gratefully welcomed the presence of keynote speaker Raymond Burke - the E.W. Kelley Professor at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, and founding director of the School’s Customer Interface Laboratory. Prof. Raymond Burke brang a valuable sharing on the topic of current interest “New Tools for Measuring and Managing Shoppability”.

 

After an impressive presentation, the Best Paper Award went to the paper titled: “Will digital marketing be innovative for all industries? A consideration of the tobacco industry in Vietnam: An empirical study of young smokers” by Nguyen Mai Nhu Cam (VAW Health Alliances) and Tran Thi Bach Yen (Can Tho University). Congratulations to the authors on their excellent achievement at MICA-2022.

 

Hopefully that in the coming years, MICA will continue to inspire researchers for new discoveries and spread positive values ​​to the community.
