Winners in DaNang Startup Runway Contest in 2017 called out

The opening race
The sprint stage of this playground had officially opened at Hall A - University of Economics - University of Da Nang. The atmosphere had never been more exciting than now when 10 teams who reached the finals of Danang Startup Runway season 2 stepped on the stage to receive fresh bouquets from Vice Chairman of People's Committee of Danang city Dang Viet Dung and other Donors. They were ready to explode with the ideas trained during the past three months as they journeyed through the competition.
On the final stage of the competition, the Rector of the university - Prof. Dr. Nguyen Manh Toan shared the impression and pride on the 10 unique ideas of the group reaching the final round. "This is not just a game, but a place to prove that you have overcome your limits and do many meaningful things. If anyone doubts that Da Nang students and Vietnamese students in general can do things that others cannot do, then this is the most convincing answer. "The Rector reminded students to be brave and feel that all dreams will come true if they have great determination and ambition’’.
Nuala O'Brien, Irish Ambassador to Vietnam, was looking forward to seeing the best faces that she and the entrepreneurs of the CORK Institute would welcome in Ireland. Rubicon CIT Business Center will certainly be the best place for students to develop and cultivate their ideas as this is where dedicated professionals, whole-hearted staff and experienced people help you go further.
The Judges in the final:

In the finals, teams had time to present the most unique aspects of their startup projects in many aspects, and then answered the questions from the judges. The audience at the hall continuously gave continuous applauses to unique business ideas from the 10 finalists. They had a lot of confidence, especially among those who chose to present completely in English and convince the judges and guests from abroad.
Da Nang Startup Runway has given young people the opportunity to prove their entrepreneurial spirit and is a launch pad for a generation that dares to think, and dares to do.
The winners are called out
After 4 hours of competition, the race of startup ideas - Da Nang Startup Runway ended with the award of the best names:
- First Prize: C-Tek team with versatile jacket application. A unique product that connects the jacket, backpack and sleeping bag.
- Second prize: Tomato Group with EZCLO application - Fashion shopping application with extremely convenient features makes shopping easy.
- Third prize: Whatever with Petla - an online platform for pet lovers and pet service providers, hoping to maximize the experiences for users in connection - sharing - shopping -and business.
In addition to cash awards and scholarships from ACCA Vietnam sponsors, representatives of three excellent groups will take part in a training trip to Ireland. Let’s wish them to have the best experience to put their startup business on the fly.
The exciting playground of Da Nang students has closed, and the finalists have had their best moments with the project of enthusiasm. Let’s wish the groups to continue to keep the fire, to break all the limits to continue realizing their own plans!
