Strengthening cooperative relationship with the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia

International integration, expanding cultural exchanges, and promoting international education cooperation are the goals in the training activities of the University of Economics, University of Danang. University of Economics, University of Danang has met with a delegation from the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia, to discuss student and faculty exchange programs, training programs, as well as enhancing research collaboration between the two institutions on June 6th.

The meeting was attended by Mr. Brett Lovegrove, Deputy Vice-Rector responsible for Global Partnerships, and Ms. Thai Thi Cam Chi, UQ's representative in Vietnam. Representing the University of Economics, University of Danang were Associate Professor Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh, Deputy Vice-Rector of the university, Associate Professor Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Head of the Training Department, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Huu Man, Head of the Science and International Cooperation Department, Associate Professor Dr. Dang Tung Lam, Head of the Finance Department, and lecturers who had previously studied at the University of Queensland.

Associate Professor Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh hopes that the collaboration between the two institutions will bring many benefits to the students.

Speaking at the meeting, Associate Professor Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh warmly welcomed the delegation from the University of Queensland (UQ), Australia, on behalf of the university's leadership. The Deputy Vice-Rector of University of Economics, University of Danang shared information about the university's training and scientific research activities. With the efforts to promote international cooperation, Associate Professor Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh also informed about collaborations with partners from many countries around the world. The University of Economics, University of Danang is honored to collaborate with the University of Queensland and hopes to achieve significant achievements in training, scientific research, and educational cooperation.

Furthermore, the University of Economics, University of Danang invited the University of Queensland to organize specialized workshops for students and faculty. At the same time, it hopes thatDUE students will have the opportunity to transfer to the University of Queensland (UQ) under the 2+2 program. The University of Economics, University of Danang also aims to establish student and faculty exchange programs, exchange study materials for the training programs of both universities and develop research projects in areas of mutual interest.

Mr. Brett Lovegrove hopes to enhance connections between the faculty and students of both universities.

Mr. Brett Lovegrove, Deputy Vice-Rector responsible for Global Partnerships, introduced the collaborative training activities of the University of Queensland. He highlighted the key research areas and strengths of the university to strengthen and establish long-term cooperative relationships with the University of Economics, University of Danang. Currently, the University of Queensland has signed an MOU with the University of Economics, University of Danang and is planning to sign a MOA in the near future. Mr. Brett Lovegrove is delighted with the strong collaboration between the two institutions and hopes that faculty and students from both universities will have more opportunities for exchange and interaction in teaching and learning.

At the end of the meeting, the University of Economics, University of Danang and the University of Queensland exchanged commemorative gifts. It is hoped that after this discussion, the cooperative exchange programs will gradually be improved, bringing many benefits to students and affirming the positions of both institutions.
