How do you feel when you know that you have excellently received the scholarship?
Oh, I was indescribably happy, the emotion I felt at that moment was indescribable. I finished the interview round in November, during the interview, I also received a lot of compliments from the interviewers, but I still think they are compliments to help me reduce stress because, during the interview, I was really nervous and trembling. After finishing the interview, I thought I would not be able to pass because my friends in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi have a lot more potential than me, but I still hope that I will have the opportunity to receive this scholarship. After 3 weeks, I was informed that I received the full scholarship ACCA Futurist 2021.

Studying ACCA helps me improve my multi-faceted knowledge base in many aspects of Accounting, Auditing, and Finance. In addition, the ACCA organization is affiliated with more than 7,400 employers and 80 accounting partners worldwide. Therefore, studying for and completing the ACCA certificate will open up many career opportunities not only in the country but globally.
Did you face any difficulties during the ACCA scholarship application process?
Almost my scholarship application process was not difficult at all, everything was quite good.

Can you share a little of your secret to applying for a scholarship?
To be one of the best candidates, you must have good English background and academic ability. Like everyone else, they all went through 3 rounds of competition. The first round is a CV round, the second round is a competency test and the last round is a personal interview. Recalling the interview time at that time, Thuc Tran was still reflecting: During the interview round, I was asked a lot of questions related to career orientation, the reason for attending ACCA, study path, and time management. Therefore, I think you should answer the questions naturally, honestly, coherently and to the right point as well as express yourself through the answers.
What advice do you have for students who want to receive ACCA scholarships?
You should research carefully the scholarship requirements, for ACCA certification, and show all your strengths and your goals to reveal that you are suitable for ACCA certification. Especially, the commitment to pursue ACCA in the near future, if possible, you can come up with a clear plan on how to study and complete ACCA in the coming years to impress the interviewers.
