University of Economics lecturers showcase youthfulness in the contest “Sharing burden”

In a joyful and exciting atmosphere of the 88th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20th, 1930 - October 20th, 2018), in the afternoon of October 19th, the Trade Union of University of Economics held the contest "Sharing burden". The contest showed participants’ youthfulness, resilience, solidarity and brought joyful moments to union members on Vietnam Women's Day.



Leader of Women Committee - Ms. Phan Thi Bich Van represented all female union members to receive flowers from University Board of Rectors

In the opening, representative of the University Board of Rectors – Assoc.Prof. Nguyen Manh Toan presented beautiful flowers to all women officials and employees, as well as wished female union members health, beauty, enthusiasm, elegance and youthfulness.

Overcome obstacles

In the enthusiastic cheering of the audience, each male and female pair of every departmental trade union carried water from the starting zone, together overcoming obstacles to fill the water container at the destination. True to the game’s name, the pairs had to be skillful, careful in each step to not let water pour while remain a fast pace of running to compete in continuous rounds.

Excitingly continue racing

After 1 hour of competing, the Organizing Committee determined the best couples. Accordingly, the couple from the Trade Union of Department of Personnel and Administrative Affairs with the largest amount of water won the first prize of the contest. The two second prizes belonged to the Trade Union of Department of Student Affairs and the Trade Union of Faculty of Business Administration. The Trade Union of the Department of Facility Management, Inspection and Legal Affairs and the Trade Union of Faculty of Law won the third prizes of the contest. In addition, the University Trade Union also awarded 13 consolation prizes to 13 departmental trade unions which actively participated in the "Sharing burden" contest.
