On April 20th, the University of Economics - Da Nang University, in collaboration with the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ngai Province, organized a training session to enhance management capacity in the public sector for high school principals in Quang Ngai Province. The training program is part of the cooperation plan between the People's Committee of Quang Ngai Province and Da Nang University on human resource development. Attending the training session from the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ngai Province was Mr. Tran Sy - Deputy Director of the Department, along with principals from high schools in the province. From the University of Economics, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh - Vice-Rector of the University, Head of the Organizing Committee, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung - Head of the Organization - Administration Department, and Mr. Ha Phuoc Vu - Head of the Planning - Finance Department.

In his speech at the training session, Mr. Tran Sy expressed the education sector's practical desire to enhance the capacity of the management team of schools throughout the province. He emphasized the cooperation between the Department of Education and Training of Quang Ngai Province and the University of Economics - Da Nang University, which has demonstrated a strategic vision and long-term commitment to local education development.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, these are practical topics directly related to the effectiveness of school activities. Combining theory and practice will contribute to improving the management effectiveness of public high schools, which serve as the "input" for universities.

The training session consisted of 2 topics:

Topic 1: Procurement procedures and maintenance in public sector entities presented by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Tung - Head of the Organization - Administration Department, University of Economics - Da Nang University.

Topic 2: Financial management in public sector entities presented by Mr. Ha Phuoc Vu - Head of the Planning - Finance Department, University of Economics - Da Nang University.

The training content focused on essential topics such as procurement procedures, maintenance, and financial management in public sector entities. These are all crucial issues directly affecting the effectiveness of school operations. After an active, responsible, and effective training process, a series of topics on school management and handling management issues in the public sector were shared and discussed enthusiastically between lecturers and learners.

With close sharing and multidimensional approaches to the issues encountered by the management team of high schools in Quang Ngai Province during their work, many topics and issues were addressed collaboratively by lecturers and learners, resulting in high-quality and effective solutions.

At the end of the training session, participants were awarded Certificates of Completion for the Training to Enhance Management Capacity in the Public Sector for High School Principals in Quang Ngai Province.
