Pham Tam Anh Thy (born in 2004) emerged as the Beauty Queen from the Talent Competition for university students in the intellectual and elegant city of Da Nang in 2021. Beyond her academic achievements, this second-year student majoring in International Economics at the University of Economics - University of Da Nang actively participates in various youth union and association activities.

During her time at Phan Chau Trinh High School in Da Nang, Pham Tam Anh Thy not only excelled academically but also drew attention when she won the First Prize in the female solo category of the 2021 Talent Competition for school and university students in Da Nang.

Expressing her thoughts, Thy stated, "I stepped out of my comfort zone to compete for the title of Beauty Queen in this competition. Here, I had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with seniors and peers in various fields. Everyone was talented and inspiring, providing me with much motivation. I think it also motivated me to strive for continuous learning and improvement every day."

Born and raised in Da Nang, after graduating from high school, Anh Thy chose to continue her studies at the University of Economics - University of Da Nang to remain close to her hometown for education and personal development.

"Da Nang, my hometown, is a beautiful city, renowned as the most livable city in Vietnam. The lifestyle here suits me well, and I also want to be close to my family. The guidance and support of my loved ones make me more confident on the path of maturity. However, I do not become overly dependent; instead, I try to maintain a certain distance from my family to learn how to be independent," shared Anh Thy.

In addition to focusing on her studies, Anh Thy actively participates in extracurricular activities related to education, sports, and social work, such as assisting those in need and environmental protection. These activities provide Thy with diverse perspectives on life, helping her accumulate knowledge, experience, and personal growth. Therefore, she is grateful for and values every opportunity that comes her way, always giving her best effort. The more she travels, the more experiences she gains, and Thy realizes that she still has shortcomings and needs to strive for continuous self-improvement.

From elementary school to university, Anh Thy consistently participates in the activities of the Youth Union and Youth Association. She believes that these organizations provide the most familiar and reputable environment for students to cultivate themselves, learn from the experiences of seniors and peers, and become more confident and dynamic.

Recently, Anh Thy had the honor of being one of the young delegates attending the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Students' Association for the term 2023-2028. She shared, "I highly appreciate and am grateful for the opportunity to participate in this event. As a young student, especially in the current era of digital transformation, I am always in the spirit of being ready to learn and absorb new things to contribute my best to the country. Moreover, I want to spread two important elements—national identity and international integration—to fellow students. From there, we can together build the image of Vietnamese students: Strong in identity, Rich in aspirations, Visionary in shaping the future, and Contributing to the nation."

Anh Thy hopes to further perfect herself in terms of morals, kindness, and aesthetics in the future, becoming the best version of herself. She also hopes for more opportunities to step out of her comfort zone, experience more, and fulfill the new and useful things she has been dreaming of. Thy will continue to focus on her major while actively seeking opportunities for learning and developing new skills to expand her knowledge. Some notable achievements:

●       First Prize in the Excellent Literature Students Competition at the district level.

●       Second Prize in the Excellent Mathematics Students Competition at the school level.

●       Third Prize in the Excellent Mathematics Students Competition at the city level.

●       Encouragement Prize in the Excellent Biology Students Competition at the city level.

●       Beauty Queen of the 2021 Talent Competition for high school and university students in Da Nang.

●       Judge for the Final Round of Miss International MIF 2022 - International Studies Department, University of Foreign Languages - University of Da Nang.

●       Ambassador for the Greenrace 2022 - organized by the Center for Biodiversity Conservation of GreenViet in collaboration with the Da Nang Youth Union - Vietnam Students' Association of Da Nang City, part of the Conservation Fund project to mobilize financial resources for social projects.
