About

MSc. Nguyen Thi Thieu Quang was awarded the bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking from the University of Economics, the university of Danang in 2010 and the master’s degree in Management (with specialization in Finance and Banking) from Management Development Institute of Singapore (MDIS) in 2011. She worked at Vietinbank – Danang branch for 2 years as a credit officer before joining the faculty of Banking as a lecturer in 2013.

She has presented at international conferences such as the Second Asia-Pacific Academic Research Conference on Global Business, Economics, Finance and Social Sciences (AP 2015), the International Conference on Accounting and Finance (ICOAF 2017), the Australasian Finance and Banking Conference (AFBC 2018). She also publishes in peer-reviewed journals such as Journal of Economics and Development, Journal of Economic Studies, International Journal of Economics and Finance, Investment Management and Financial Innovations, and Journal of Financial Economic Policy.

MSc. Nguyen Thi Thieu Quang is currently doing PhD research at Lincoln University, New Zealand. She has worked as a tutor and research assistant at the faculty of Agribusiness and Commerce, Lincoln University, New Zealand.

 

Research interests

Capital structure, bank regulation, financial markets and institutions, financial stability, and emerging markets
