The research of a student at the University of Economics - University of Da Nang excellently won the best paper award at the SR-ICYREB 2023 Conference

At the Internationa Conference for Students on Economics and Business (SR-ICYREB 2023) held at the Academy of Finance on August 11, the paper titled "An online celebrity brand equity: A case study of the Tiktok platform in Vietnam," authored by student Do Thi Thu Uyen from the Department of Tourism (Supervisor: Ms. Tran Thi Kim Phuong), was recognized as one of the 23 Best Paper Award recipients during the closing session of the conference. This achievement is a source of pride for Do Thi Thu Uyen, especially given that the conference brought together over 200 outstanding research papers from research groups across 10 universities and academies nationwide.

 Following the success of the SR-ICYREB 2022 conference at the University of Economics, Da Nang University, SR-ICYREB 2023 is the result of collaboration between the Academy of Finance and ICYREB member schools: University of Economics, Da Nang University; University of Economics, Ho Chi Minh City; University of Economics and Law, Ho Chi Minh City; University of Commerce; Banking Academy; National Economics University; Hue University of Economics, Hue University; Hanoi National University of Economics; and Foreign Trade University. The conference serves as an academic forum exclusively for students from economic and business universities, providing an intellectual playground to promote scientific research activities among young scholars.

SR-ICYREB 2023 focused on various themes, including economic and financial policies, with an emphasis on digital economics and the sharing economy; Industry 4.0 revolution; innovation and entrepreneurship; economic restructuring and new growth models; accounting and auditing; business management; international economics; industrial economics; local economics; and sustainable development and business in the new era. The conference also explored approaches, mechanisms, policies, resources, and business support environments, as well as research on finance, human resources, supply chains, innovation, and entrepreneurship, etc.

 The goal of SR-ICYREB 2023 is to establish and develop an environment for academic exchange, new ideas, and the scientific research results of students majoring in Economics and Business. It aims to facilitate the exchange of experiences and enhance collaboration in management and scientific research activities among students to promote research activities among students from various universities in the current context.

Winning the Best Paper Award is a testament to the student's dedication to scientific research, exploration of new knowledge, and affirmation of the research capabilities of young scholars at the University of Economics, Da Nang University. It is hoped that in 2023, the faculty and students of the University of Economics will continue to achieve many awards in the field of scientific research, further affirming the center's position and reputation as a leading education and research institution in the country and the region.
