Closing ceremony of the 5th Olympiad Sports Games at the University of Da Nang: the University of Economics noticeably came Third

After nearly 20 days of competing with high spirits, on 22^th April afternoon, the Olympiad Sports Games for staff of UD officially ended at Sports Centre – the University of Da Nang. With such endless efforts and strong-minded determination, teams from the University of Economics performed spectacularly and proudly came third with an overall score of 90 points.

According to the general report, 8 member trade unions with 545 athletes participated in the Games, competing at 6 fields, 7 sports. All of the contests were held at the Sports Centre, which was well prepared and fully equipped for the sake of convenience to all competitors. Through 16 days of competing, competitors devoted whole-heartedly to the Games with high spirits of solidarity, fair play, and strong determination. Finally, the Offices of the University of Da Nang came First as the Champion, the University of Science and Technology came Second, and the University of Economics honorably came Third.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ngo Van Duong – Vice President of the University of Da Nang gladly acclaimed the spirits in Sports of all athletes and delivered his thanks to the Organizing Board, sponsors and spectators for such a stunning success. Representatives from the University of Da Nang highly encourage member universities and institutes to keep up the good work and habits of sports for better improvement in health, willingness and solidarity. Also, this big Games looked for potentials to take part in the Sports Tournament held by Da Nang City and Education& Training Ministry.

More than that, all staff of DUE keeps a promise of consistently attempts in sports and high spirits in training for good health and further achievements in other professional sports events.
