Enhancing Coordination with the Ngu Hanh Son District Police, Contributing to National Security Protection, Ensuring Social Order and Safety, and preventing Crime

On the morning of April 25th, a conference was held at the University of Economics to sign a Coordination Regulation between the Ngu Hanh Son District Police and the University of Economics in implementing the task of protecting national security; ensuring social order and safety, combating crime, and other law-violating activities. Attending the conference from the Ngu Hanh Son District Police were Colonel Le Viet Du - Deputy Chief of the district police, leaders of teams under the district police, and representatives from My An Ward Police (Ngu Hanh Son District). Representing the University of Economics were Assoc. Prof. Doctor. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh - Vice-Rector of the university, and representatives from faculties, departments, and affiliated centers of the university.

During the conference, representatives from the Ngu Hanh Son District Police reported on the results of implementing security and order maintenance tasks at the University of Economics - Da Nang University from 2020 to the present. Accordingly, the district police have closely coordinated with the university to ensure security and order in the district, particularly focusing on propaganda, political education, and ideological education for university staff, faculty members, students, and postgraduate students of the University of Economics. The cooperation between the district police and the university has been implemented effectively, contributing to reducing incidents of law violations, school violence, and social vices among students.

Representatives from the Ngu Hanh Son District Security Team, My An Ward Police, and the Student Affairs Office - University of Economics reported, exchanged, and discussed the security and order situation in the district.

Colonel Le Viet Du highly praised the coordination between the two units over the past time.

Leadership representatives of the University of Economics stated that the Party Committee of the University always directs the strengthening of propaganda, legal education, crime prevention, and social vice prevention for students through extracurricular activities, club activities, legal awareness contests, traffic safety education, and drug prevention activities. Regular coordination with the police forces to exchange information, manage students, and promptly resolve incidents related to security and order within the university; maintaining and strengthening self-governing and self-protecting models; enhancing the role of youth organizations in security and order work, contributing to improving the quality of education and research.

The University of Economics hopes for the support and cooperation of the Ngu Hanh Son District Police and My An Ward Police in propaganda work, raising awareness among university staff, faculty members, and students about enhancing security, social order, and safety in the locality.

Based on the achieved results of the coordination work as well as the discussions and exchanges between the two units, the University of Economics and the Ngu Hanh Son District Police have signed a Coordination Regulation to implement the task of protecting national security; ensuring social order and safety, combating crime, and other law-violating activities. The content of the agreement focuses on exchanging information related to the task of protecting national security; ensuring social order and safety, combating crime and law violations at the University; strengthening propaganda, education, and guidance on implementing legal documents related to security and order in education & training areas, cultural - ideological areas, cyber security, and information security; ensuring security protection in education & training activities; managing security, order in foreign-related education & training activities at the University. Based on the signed Regulation, the two units will enhance their roles and responsibilities to contribute to protecting national security; ensuring social order and safety, combating crime, and other law-violating activities in the Ngu Hanh Son District.
