After three days of intense competition (from April 21st to April 23rd, 2023), the Staff, Faculty, and Employee Sports Competition of Universities in Danang City 2023 concluded on the afternoon of April 23rd. The athletes from the University of Economics showcased outstanding performances at this sports competition and won 1 gold medal (in the Men's Singles Badminton event) and 2 silver medals (in the Women's Table Tennis and Men's Football events), thereby concluding a successful sports competition for the University.

In the Men's Singles Badminton event, athlete Tran Huu Phung continued to demonstrate impressive form and won all matches to defend the gold medal won in previous sports competitions. The Women's Table Tennis event also witnessed the progress of the University of Economics' sports team as athlete Le Thi Thu Tam also excelled and finished as the runner-up. In the Men's Football event, after defeating the Sports University of Danang in the semifinals, the players from the University of Economics also made their utmost efforts in the final match against the Architecture University of Danang. Overall, the University of Economics' football team won the silver medal in the Men's Football event.
