Reviewing 50 Years of Tradition with Alumni and Postgraduates from Quang Nam Province

On the afternoon of April 25, in Tam Ky City, Quang Nam Province, the University of Economics – The University of Danang held a warm and heartfelt alumni and postgraduate reunion, filled with pride. This event is part of a series of meaningful activities celebrating the 50th anniversary of the University's establishment.

The program was attended by Prof. Dr. Truong Ba Thanh – Former Rector of the University of Economics, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy – Rector of the University, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh – Vice Rector, along with numerous generations of alumni and postgraduates currently living and working in Quang Nam.

Despite working in various fields and industries, all attendees shared a common emotional sentiment as they revisited their youthful memories, exchanged stories of personal growth, and expressed deep affection for their alma mater. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Van Huy conveyed his gratitude and affirmed, “The success of our generations of students is the most vivid testament to the quality of our education and the greatest pride of the University of Economics.”

The program not only served as a platform for reconnection but also opened up many opportunities for collaboration and support between the university and its alumni community in training, research, entrepreneurship, and human resource development for the locality. The reunion events for alumni and postgraduates of the University of Economics will continue in Quang Ngai Province on April 27 and in Binh Dinh Province on April 28.
