The University of Economics visited and congratulated the Consulate General of Laos in Da Nang on the occasion of the 47th National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic

In the joyful atmosphere of welcoming the 47th National Day of the Lao People's Democratic Republic (December 2, 1975 - December 2, 2022), on the afternoon of November 30, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Huy - Vice President of the University of Economics - University of Danang led the delegation to visit and congratulate the Consulate General of Laos in Da Nang. Joining the delegation were representatives of the Department of Training, Department of Educational Testing & Quality Assurance, and Department of Science & International Cooperation. Chairing the meeting with representatives of leaders of the University of Economics was the Consulate General of Laos in Da Nang Souphanh Hadaoheuan.
On behalf of the leaders of the University of Economics, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Huy would like to send best wishes to Mr. Consulate General Souphanh Hadaoheuan and all leaders, officers, and employees of the Consulate General of Laos in Da Nang on the occasion of the 47th National Day of Lao People's Democratic Republic. Sharing more about Laos students studying and researching at the University, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Van Huy highly appreciates the spirit of the learning effort, actively contributing to many activities of the University and contributing to the connection of the cultural identity of Vietnam - Laos.

Currently, the University of Economics has 142 Lao students who are researching and studying at the University, in which the majority of international students are living in the International Student Dormitory located on the campus of the University. The school affirms its interest in Lao students in all aspects and hopes that many Lao students will study and experience at the University of Economics in the future. The representative of the University of Economics also hopes that the Vietnam - Laos educational cooperation will develop more and more, contributing to the socio-economic development of Laos.
Expressing his gratitude to the delegation's leaders, Mr. Consulate General Souphanh Hadaoheuan acknowledged the University's interest and support for Lao students, showing affection and effective cooperation in training high-quality human resources for Laos. The Consul General expressed his desire and belief that with many years of tradition and experience in training international students, the University of Economics will continue to create a favorable environment and conditions to help Lao students overcome difficulties, study and practice with peace of mind so that when they graduate from school, they can contribute to the development of the localities and Laos.
