The conference heard a summary of the outstanding activities of the School Union in the academic year 2021 - 2022 through video clips. Accordingly, in the past school year, in the context of complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, the University's Trade Union still made great efforts to fulfill the task of taking care of staff and employees' lives and promoting the value of creativity and innovation in trade unions’ activities during the Covid-19 pandemic. Some typical activities organized by the Trade Union of the University such as: The celebration of the establishment of the Vietnam Women's Union and the honor of female new doctorates in 2021; Online contest “Master – Chef DUE”; Contest to learn about Gender Equality on Kahoot software; Seminar "Safe adaptation to Covid-19 in schools"; Online and face-to-face training in combination with the epidemic situation; Seminar "Safety when working in cyberspace"; Seminar "Sharing working experience on Elearning"; Seminar "Designing subjects according to international standards"; Celebrating International Women's Day 8/3 and Relay competition; Prize B at the Performing Arts Festival of the University Emulation Division in Da Nang City; The championship of the football exchange tournament VKU 2022; 02 Gold medals, 04 Silver medals, 03 Bronze medals at the Badminton and Table Tennis Championships at the University of Danang; Ceremony "Welcome International Children's Day 1/6 & Praise & Reward" and Mid-Autumn Festival; Charity support activities for highland students in Vinh O commune, Vinh Linh district, Quang Tri province, "Computer for children" program. The activities of departmental trade unions also took place extremely excitingly and showed the initiative and creativity of trade union members such as: Football tournament of Trade Union Faculty of Economics, the Volleyball Tournament for cadres of the Trade Union of Training Department & Trade Union Faculty of Statistics - Informatics & Trade Union Faculty of Political Theory, Billiard Prize of Union Faculty of Business Administration & Trade Union International Training Center, Competition "Learning about labor law" by Trade Union Chaired by the Faculty of Law, etc. In recognition of the collective efforts of the cadres and employees of the University of Economics, the Vietnam Education Union awarded the Emulation Flag for outstanding achievements in emulation movements and trade union activities in the academic year 2021 – 2022.

Speaking at the conference, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Dinh Khoi Nguyen highly appreciated the results that the University's Trade Union has achieved in the school year 2021 - 2022, besides recognizing the efforts of the cadres and employees in the context of the epidemic, the whole team officers - employees have united to overcome difficulties to successfully complete the school year's tasks. Continuing to work and study in the new normal state, the University's leaders suggested the Trade Union Executive Committee to closely direct and create conditions for the development of professional activities, creating many playgrounds for trade union members. Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Dinh Khoi Nguyen also emphasized the promotion of cultural values ​​in DUE, building a cultural lifestyle among trade unionists, and at the same time doing a good job of preparing for the trade union congress of the divisional unions in the coming time.

In the exciting atmosphere of the new school year 2022 - 2023, the School Union was determined to complete the key tasks well. Accordingly, the Trade Union continues to carry out the task of propaganda and education, improving the quality of cadres and employees in terms of expertise, skills, and sense of responsibility; spreading a civilized, clean, and simple lifestyle among trade union members. The trade union also focuses on taking care of and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of employees; well implements emulation movements, campaigns, and commendation work. Women's work in the University will also be promoted, raising awareness of gender equality, for the advancement of women.

At the conference, the Trade Union of the University of Economics also announced the commendation decisions for 04 collectives and 23 individuals with outstanding achievements in trade union activities in the academic year 2021-2022; awarded certificates of merit to 01 individual with outstanding achievements in the movement "Capable of school affairs and duteous at housework" in the school year 2021 - 2022 and a certificate of merit to 01 individual who has made excellent achievements in the movement "Culture and sports" for the school year 2021-2022. The conference also summed up the emulation movement "Creative, flexible, proactive in building an advanced learning environment that meets the requirements of the new situation" and rewarded the collectives who have achieved outstanding achievements in the movement.
