The Science and Technology Journal of the University of Da Nang has been added to the Southeast Asia Citation system ( ASEAN Citation Index-ACI).

Important milestone marking the new status of the Science and Technology Journal

ACIA is a citation index database system for Southeast Asia that serves as a vital link between scientific research works from the National Citation Index of Member Countries (NIA) and internationally renowned scientific databases such as Web of Science and Scopus.

This is considered a vital event playing a key role for the Science and Technology Journal to reach out to the whole world, thereby, increasing the University of Da Nang's international prestige.

ACI was established in 2011 as a citation database platform of scientific publications in academic journals in Southeast Asia. In addition to the function of storing and searching for scientific articles and citations, ACI supports the classification and evaluation of the quality of scientific journals of area countries; gather and systematize scientific publications of ASEAN member countries with a view to communicating research results on a global scale.

To be included in ACI, scientific journals must meet the six first-round standards and nine second-round standards, including the persuasiveness of editorial policy, the form of closed feedback, the geographic diversity of editor board members, the geographic diversity of authors, academic contribution to the research field of the journal, the clarity in the abstract, the quality and relevance of the article’s content, on schedule publishing, the quality of the journal website, the international standard applied to the English journal website, all being cited in National and International Scientific databases, and the online post- receiving and processing system.
