A chess variant tournament for the university’s employees was held to celebrate the new year of 2021 – the year of the ox

To celebrate the New Year of 2021 – Year of the Ox, the University’s Trade Union has organized the Chess Variant Tournament for all employees on January 16.
Representing the Executive Committee of Trade Union, MS. Nguyen Van Long – Vice President and MS. Nguyen Anh Tuan – Vice President, attended the welcoming ceremony of the tournament together with all “players” from all departmental trade unions of the University.
The Chess Variant Tournament attracted players of all ages.
The Chess Variant Tournament drew enthusiastic responses from the University’s employees.
The competitions were intense and vibrant; all players were open-minded and played many unique and attractive chess moves, creating an atmosphere of solidarity, friendliness, and exchange between players. After 3 hours of exciting competition, based on players’ achievements, the Organizing Committee awarded 02 First prizes, 02 Second prizes, and 04 Third prizes for two variants of Chess.

The Chess Variant Tournament has become an inspired "spiritual food" for the Trade Union members on the New Year of the Ox 2021. The prize has contributed to promoting the love of sports, creating a healthy and beneficial playground for the Trade Union members. Simultaneously, it helps to tighten solidarity and friendship between departmental trade unions of the University.
