Beautiful moments of the Graduation day of 3 PhDs and 303 masters at University of Economics - The University of Danang

Oct 29^th, 2017 is not a normal Sunday but  a festive day at University of Economics, the University of Danang since it is the day to honor and confer degrees to new PhDs and masters at the leading university of economics and business administration in Central Vietnam

The degree conferment ceremony took place at Hall A where 3 PhDs and 303 masters got on stage to receive the degrees from the Rector in the excitement of teachers, friends and family. The degree has marked a new step in students and PhD candidates’ journey of knowledge after so many days of hard work and study at Danang  University of Economics. The knowledge acquired will help them to continue to do research or return to their workplaces with higher goals and broader vision. By improving skills and using different resources, the new masters and PhDs will create new trends and take the opportunities the industrial revolution or the industry 4.0 is bringing. The success achieved by new masters and PhDs in their business and research is also the success and pride of the University.

In 2000, the Ministry of Education and Training allowed University of Economics-the University of Danang to carry out higher education training. The University has trained thousands of PhDs and masters of 6 majors including development economics, economic management, business administration, banking-finance, accounting and philosophy, which has made a great contribution to the development of high quality human resources in Central and Highland regions of Vietnam. Since K30 course,  the University has been given the autonomyin all of the higher education activities by the Ministry of Education and Training and the University of Danang. Therefore, K31 course is the second course the University has organized the graduation thesis defense and degree conferment ceremony for students.

The ceremony is organised formally in Hall A with the participation of the management board of the University of Danang, representatives from Faculties, Departments and Centers; lecturers, families and friends

Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam – Director of the University of Danang was sending best wishes to the new PhDs and masters and expressing his belief in their abilities to take precious opportunities the industrial revolution or industry 4.0 is bringing. He hopes that the new PhDs and masters will create strong connection between the University and business community as well as their workplaces to improve the position and prestige of the University of Economics – the University of Danang in the new context.

Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Manh Toan – Rector of the University of Economics believes: “The new PhDs and masters graduated today will always try their best to prove their abilities and quality no matter what position they are holding. Their success in business or research is also the success and pride of the University”
