Japanese businesses explore cooperation opportunities and recruit DUE students

In order to enhance cooperation with domestic and international businesses, contribute to internal strength, support training collaborations, and seek employment opportunities for students, on the morning of June 7th, the University of Economics, University of Danang held a working session with Japanese businesses.

The working session was attended by representatives from leading Japanese companies: Vietnam Human Resources Company in Japan, Da Nang Creative Resort Limited Liability Company, and HUB Da Nang - Japan Company. Representatives from the International Cooperation Office of DUE, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Huu Man - Head of the Department of Science and International Cooperation, and Dr. Vo Thi Quynh Nga - Head of the Tourism Department, as well as representatives from the Student Support and Business Relations Center, were also present.

During the session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Huu Man provided an overview of the University of Economics, University of Danang. The University of Economics is a member of University of Danang, one of the three regional universities in Vietnam and one of the top 7 largest universities in Vietnam listed among the top 500 universities in Asia. The university offers undergraduate and postgraduate programs, including 4 doctoral programs, 6 master's programs, and 28 undergraduate programs. The university's training programs are always in line with the development trends of the labor market. Moreover, to ensure that graduates have the skills and strengths to compete in the context of globalization, DUE also offers international bachelor's programs taught entirely in English. Over the past 48 years, DUE has produced over 50,000 bachelors, thousands of masters and doctors, many of whom currently hold important positions in public organizations and large enterprises across Vietnam. Furthermore, the university is always concerned about creating employment opportunities for students, so it desires to collaborate with businesses to promote student employment.

Both sides discussed various recruitment-related information

Both parties exchanged their strengths in building plans for recruiting students for 6-month or 1-year internships and recruiting students to work in Japan. The businesses will provide favorable conditions for students to work and enjoy good incentive policies. The goal of the businesses is to establish a long-term and sustainable strategic cooperation with DUE in training according to the business requirements, recruiting qualified graduates to work in Japanese companies.

Dr. Vo Thi Quynh Nga, Head of the Tourism Department, affirmed that the University of Economics, University of Danang in general, and the Tourism Department in particular, always aim to train dynamic, creative, adaptable, and well-integrated students in multicultural environments through learning activities and practical experiences, enabling them to become high-quality human resources. This is a great cooperation opportunity that opens up many employment prospects for the students.
