On the morning of January 8, the University of Economics - Da Nang University held a solemn ceremony to announce the approval of the Party Secretary and the resolution recognizing the Chairman of the Council of the University of Economics - Da Nang University for the term 2020 - 2025.

During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Vo Thi Thuy Anh, the Party Secretary of the University, assumed the position of Chairman of the Council of the University of Economics - Da Nang University for the term 2020 - 2025, as per Resolution No. 109/NQ-HDDH dated December 29, 2023, by the Da Nang University Council. This event holds special significance, marking a new development in the process of perfecting the leadership team of the University and reinforcing its position in the educational system.

The University Council of the University of Economics - Da Nang University for the term 2020 - 2025 was recognized according to Resolution No. 50/NQ-HDDH dated July 5, 2023, by the Da Nang University Council. The University Council consists of 19 members representing lecturers, staff, workers, and students, playing a pivotal role in formulating strategies, policies, and directions contributing to the development of the institution.

During the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Vu, the Party Secretary and Director of Da Nang University, congratulated Assoc. Prof. Vo Thi Thuy Anh on her appointment. He acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the University of Economics, Da Nang University, under her leadership. Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Vu recognized the contributions of Assoc. Prof. Vo Thi Thuy Anh and expressed confidence that the new Chairman of the Council of the University of Economics - Da Nang University would fulfill her responsibilities with a strong sense of duty. Having grown and developed over 48 years, the University of Economics - Da Nang University has educated nearly 60,000 bachelors and thousands of masters and doctors for the country. At present, the University has 400 staff members, including 287 lecturers, consisting of 3 professors, 21 associate professors, 108 doctors, and 155 masters. The annual training scale is nearly 15,000 students, offering 19 undergraduate majors, 7 master's programs, and 4 doctoral programs, making it one of the leading universities in the fields of Economics, Business, and Management, and one of over 20 universities implementing autonomous university regulations in the country.
