Amid the joyful atmosphere nationwide in anticipation of the shared happiness in the education sector, the collective of the University of Economics - Danang University solemnly organized the ceremony commemorating the 41st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day on the morning of November 20th. The event provided an opportunity for teachers, students, and staff of the university to revisit the months and years of work and study, filled with memories of the journey we have traveled, inspiring each other, and reinforcing confidence as we march toward the future.

The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Vu - Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Danang University, representatives of the leadership from political and social organizations, offices, and functional departments of Danang University. From the University of Economics, the delegation included the university's leaders, heads of faculties, departments, and affiliated centers, along with former faculty, alumni, officials, lecturers, students, and learners of the University of Economics - Danang University.

The academic year 2022-2023 witnessed several changes in the university's personnel management. Nevertheless, the university's staff consistently elevated the spirit of DUE - unity, creativity, innovation, and development; sharing and assisting each other to overcome difficulties and challenges, achieving remarkable results, including:
The training and development of lecturers is always considered by the school as one of the focuses of its development strategy. In the 2022-2023 academic year, an additional 13 faculty members completed their doctoral programs, raising the ratio of PhD holders to lecturers to 46.5%. Additionally, 17 faculty members were sent to pursue doctoral studies in developed countries.
The university achieved excellent results in the 2023 admissions process with 3,190 enrolled students, demonstrating high-quality inputs across all majors. The university also introduced two programs taught entirely in English (International Business and Digital Marketing) with over 100 students enrolled. New programs focusing on FinTech, Digital Business, and Digital Marketing were also successfully launched.
Contributing to the general development of the whole society, the University of Economics - Danang University completed the annual evaluation report on the city's economic and social situation in 2022, receiving high praise from scientists and managers. The university excelled in internationally reputable publications, national and ministerial-level research projects, and student research awards, ranking among the top 5 in the country. The university also expanded its international cooperation network in Southeast Asia and worldwide.
To continually enhance the quality of education, the university successfully conducted quality assurance activities. In the past academic year, the university completed quality assurance assessments for four programs following AUN-QA standards and two programs following national standards. The total number of accredited programs reached 12 (accounting for 63% of all programs). The University of Economics - Danang University stands out nationally with a high number of accredited programs, contributing to elevating its position on the map of reputable universities in the country and the region.
The 2022-2023 academic year marked significant success in the activities of the Labor Union and Youth Union. For the first time, all three organizations—Labor Union, Youth Union, and Student Union—achieved the title of Outstanding Leading Unit of Danang University.
The past school year also continued to record efforts in investing in renovating the infrastructure system, including modern classrooms, offices, and research rooms. The improved facilities are a crucial foundation for innovation in teaching methods and quality. Alongside this, the income of university staff was enhanced, instilling a sense of security for the working team at the University of Economics.

Following a year of self-assessment and completion of the application for accreditation, the Bachelor's programs in Public Administration and Economic Law at the University of Economics - Danang University were externally evaluated in September 2023. The results were approved by the Quality Assurance Council of Hanoi National University through Resolutions No. 146 and 147/NQ-HĐKĐCL dated October 16, 2023. The Director of the Quality Assurance Center of Hanoi National University signed Decision No. 1196/QĐ-KĐCL on November 16, 2023, certifying that the programs met the standards of educational quality issued by the Minister of Education and Training for the Bachelor's programs in Economic Law and Public Administration, belonging to the Faculty of Law and the Public Administration major of the Faculty of Political Theory, respectively.
