Plan for Registering Graduation Internship Phase 1, Academic Year 2023-2024

According to the announcement from the Training Department, the following are the main contents of the plan for registering the graduation internship for Phase 1 of the academic year 2023-2024:

STEP 1: REGISTER FOR GRADUATION INTERNSHIP

From 2:00 PM on May 24 to 4:00 PM on May 26, 2023, students should log in to their personal accounts to register for the graduation internship online under the "Registration" section on the website http://due.udn.vn.

Students can choose to register for either the Graduation Thesis or the Internship Report based on the following conditions:

* Conditions for registering the Graduation Thesis:

+ Maximum of 2 courses not yet taken, and these remaining courses should not be among the required courses before registering for the graduation internship.

+ Cumulative Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 or above at the time of registration.

+ Completed the Research Methodology course.

 

 

 

* Conditions for registering the Internship Report:

+ The maximum number of remaining courses not yet taken, which are not among the required courses, is 04 courses when registering for the graduation internship.

STEP 2: CHECK THE RESULTS OF SELECTION FOR THE GRADUATION THESIS

After students register for the Graduation Thesis, representatives from the departments log in to the university's training management system to approve the students who are eligible to do the Graduation Thesis. The number of approved students should not exceed 10% of the total number of students in the undergraduate program of the major who have registered for the internship at the given time and meet the department's professional requirements (if any).

From May 31 to June 2, 2023, students who have registered for the Graduation Thesis must log in to the system to check the results of the selection for the Graduation Thesis. Students who are not selected for the Graduation Thesis will be transferred to the Internship Report.

 

STEP 3: REGISTER FOR ADDITIONAL COURSES

Students who are not selected for the Graduation Thesis should log in to the training management system to register for additional courses if necessary. The registration for additional courses must ensure a maximum total of 16 credits, including the internship course. The registration period for additional courses follows the plan for registering courses in Semester 1 of the academic year 2023-2024 for regular students of the University.

STEP 4: DISSEMINATE THE PLAN FOR THE GRADUATION INTERNSHIP

Departments will develop and disseminate internship plans (according to the template) to students before August 21, 2023. Students should pay attention to the announcements and participate in the dissemination session to understand the regulations and requirements of the department regarding the implementation of the Graduation Thesis and the Internship Report.

 

STEP 5: RECEIVE INTRODUCTION LETTERS

From August 14 to August 20, 2023, according to specific announcements from the departments, students should contact the departments to receive the Introduction Letters for the graduation internship.

STEP 6: UPDATE THE NAME OF THE INTERNSHIP UNIT

After contacting the internship unit, students should update the name of the internship unit as required by the department of specialization management before August 21, 2023.

STEP 7: ADJUST THE INTERNSHIP UNIT AND REQUEST CERTIFICATE ISSUANCE

Students who need to adjust the internship unit or request a certificate from the University regarding the assignment of students to the internship unit should contact the departments directly for assistance.

 

STEP 8: ASSIGNMENT OF SUPERVISORS AND DECISION ON INTERNSHIP

The departments will send a list of assigned supervisors for students' theses and internship reports to the Training Department before September 4, 2023, for the Rector's Office to make a decision on assigning supervisors for students' graduation internships.

This plan applies to students registered for a second major internship as well.

Students in regular programs are advised to carefully study the Regulations on Graduation Internship Registration, the current University Education Regulations, and carry out the registration for the graduation internship according to the specified timeline.
