The library of University of Economics – The University of Danang

The library of University of Economics – The University of Danang was established in 1975. Over nearly 50 years of development, the Library has had many important contributions in training bachelor, master, and doctoral students, actively contributing to the economics – scientific – technical development of the country in general and the central region in particular.

In the early years of establishment, the Library was under the Academic Affairs Department. At that time, the conditions of the Library were very difficult. It also lacked facilities as same as the general situation of the University and the country in the early stage of Renovation. Even so, the Library kept striving to ensure good service for staff and students.

The Library is located on the university campus. Its 4-floor-building has an area of 2,365 square meters with 500 seats, 3 rooms for group studying and discussions, 1 personal classroom, 1 research room for cadres, lecturers, and Ph.D. students.

In 2011, the Library became an independent unit that is directly under the University. Since then, the Library has been continuously invested and developed. Its facilities have been constantly upgraded to be more and more spacious and modern that match with 50 years of development and growth of the University.
