Key Accountabilities/Duties
  • Handling Documentation Queries for Cross Trade Shipment ie Switch BL and BL Issuance at Singapore supported by Shared Service Centre
  • Coordination with Origin and Destination Office to ensure customer queries attended closely
  • Ensure all SOPs required to carry out the Cross Trade Queries are adhered to.
  • Ensure single and consolidated invoicing sent out in a timely and accurate manner by team and that all outstanding freight is followed up on in conjunction with sales and finance departments.
  • Ensure root cause of service failures is investigated and remedies put in place to ensure KPI targets always achieved.
  • Ensure incoming calls are always adequately manned and e-mail attended timely.
  • Assist in Counter Service, when required.
  • Any other relevant tasks, as and when assigned by the immediate supervisor

  • Min Diploma holder in relevant studies
  • Min 2 years of shipping experience in documentation and customer service
  • Experience in Ship Agency - Front Office business processes (Export/ Import)
  • Experience in International regulations in shipping documentation
  • Service oriented personality
  • Good communication skills
  • Problem solving & multi-tasking
  • Attention to Details
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in Chinese (written and spoken as there will be a need to liaise with counterparts from Taiwan)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Applications (eg Excel, Powerpoint)

Salary package (local) & job title shall commensurate with experience.
