Startup runway 2019: 15 teams continued their journey in the final round

In the morning of May 4, 2019 Startup Runway semi-final took place with the competition of 21 teams from different universities in the Central region: The University of Economics, University of Education, University of Foreign Language Studies, FPT University, Dong A University, Quang Binh University and University of Danang University branch in Kon Tum. Here, the students have shown creativity in every idea of ​​starting a business before leading entrepreneurs.

Attending and analyzing ideas in the semi-final is a mentor team including: Mr. Huynh Duy Hoa - Vice Chairman of the Coordination Council of Danang startup network; Mr. Le Van Hieu - General Director of Seatech Company, Ms. Ha Mai Linh Phung - Chief of Office of Coordination Committee of Danang Start-up Network, Mr. Ho Quang Dung - Deputy Director of Danang Business Incubator (DNES) Ms. Nguyen Phuoc Ha Thien - Coordinator of DNES incubator center, Ms. Doan Thi Xuan Trang - Coordinator of DNES incubator center, Mr. Pham Duc Linh - co-founded Ylinkee Limited Company, Mr. Nguyen Le Dinh Quarterly - Researcher at VNUK Research Institute and MSc. Nguyen Son Tung - Lecturer in Business Administration Department - University of Economics.

In this semifinal round, 21 teams are divided into 3 groups corresponding to 3 different topics: Clean environment - agriculture; Technology; Travel services. In turn, the teams introduced and presented each idea to the jury board to get the highest score. The performance of the groups has brought many interesting and unexpected things to the judges and the audience. In addition, the groups have 7 minutes to answer the mentors' questions, and have the opportunity to improve ideas from the jury's comments.

After 3 hours of competition, the Board of Judges highly appreciated 21 ideas from 21 teams in the semi-finals this year. Overcoming many ideas from the preliminary, qualifying rounds, the judges say that 21 ideas are worthwhile as solutions, useful applications that can be deployed into life as well as develop into economic models. The 15 best teams were named by the jury to present in the final round, including:

The mentors congratulated the 15 teams for their outstanding efforts to create impressive performance.
