In the joyful atmosphere shared nationwide in celebration of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day, the University of Economics solemnly organized the 43rd Anniversary Ceremony to honor generations of lecturers and educators. The event was an opportunity to express gratitude and recognize outstanding collective and individual contributions during the academic year 2024 - 2025. On this occasion, the University honored 02 lecturers recognized as meeting the standards for the title of Professor and 04 lecturers meeting the standards for the title of Associate Professor.

The International Conference on Climate Change VSCT-2025 was held on December 18–19, 2025, co-organized by the University of Economics, AVSE Global (Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts Worldwide), and Massey University (New Zealand). VSCT-2025 served as an academic forum bringing together researchers, experts, and policymakers to share research findings and discuss pressing challenges related to climate change risks, environmental issues, and solutions to mitigate climate impacts on macro- and microeconomic policies, as well as energy transition policies.

To comprehensively review the outcomes of the academic year 2024–2025 and define objectives, orientations, and key tasks for the academic year 2025–2026, the University organized the Conference of Representatives of Officials and Employees in Quarter 4. The conference called on all officials and employees to unite, innovate, and strive to successfully fulfill the political and professional missions of the upcoming academic year, contributing to the sustainable development of the University.

During Quarter 4, the University continued to strengthen and expand cooperation with businesses and local authorities toward shared benefits for learners and value creation for society. Cooperation agreements were signed with partners such as Son Tra Ward People’s Committee, Hoa Sen Group, ATM Academy, and NhatroVN, creating opportunities for employment, scholarships, and collaboration across multiple fields.

The University of Economics, in collaboration with the Vietnam E-commerce Association (VECOM), the University of Economics – Hue University, and global digital commerce platforms such as Google, Amazon, and Shopee, successfully organized the National Scientific Conference “Promoting Cross-border E-commerce 2025.” The conference featured high-quality academic papers assessing the current situation, potential, opportunities, and challenges of cross-border e-commerce in Vietnam, while sharing international experiences and proposing feasible solutions to promote online exports and enhance the competitiveness of Vietnamese enterprises in the digital era.

The University of Economics, in coordination with Thang Long Education Quality Accreditation Center, conducted an official external quality assessment of 02 undergraduate programs (Accounting, Business Administration) and 06 master’s programs, including Accounting, Development Economics, Economic Management, Business Administration, Finance - Banking, and Economic Statistics. Following the assessment process, the evaluation panel provided scientific and objective conclusions on program strengths and offered valuable recommendations for quality improvement.

The 11th Trade Union Congress of the University was held in an enthusiastic atmosphere toward higher-level trade union congresses and the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress. The event marked a new phase in the development of the University’s Trade Union, reviewing achievements of the 2023–2025 term and setting objectives, tasks, and solutions for the 2025–2030 term aligned with the University’s development strategy.

The Student Affairs Conference 2025–2026 was held as an annual forum to listen to students’ aspirations, collect feedback on learning and training activities, and enhance management effectiveness. The conference reaffirmed the University’s commitment to accompanying students and outlined key directions to improve learner management and service quality in the upcoming academic year.

In Quarter 4, DUE students achieved numerous remarkable accomplishments in scientific research and innovation competitions, including: 01 Consolation Prize at the Euréka Award 2025; 02 Second Prizes at the Science and Technology Awards for Students in Higher Education Institutions 2025; 01 Second Prize, 01 Third Prize, and 03 Consolation Prizes at the Da Nang City Student Scientific Research Competition; Best Paper Award at SR-ICYREB 2025 Conference; 01 Third Prize at Smart Campus 2025; First Prize at the Artificial Intelligence Design Competition for Da Nang Youth 2025; Prospective Award at the Political Theory Competition on Protecting the Party’s Ideological Foundation (2nd edition).
