Closing of the Official Quality Assessment Survey for 8 Training Programs at the University of Economics

October 11, 2025, the University of Economics - University of Da Nang, in collaboration with the Thang Long Education Quality Accreditation Center, held the closing ceremony for the official quality assessment survey of 8 training programs at the University of Economics.
Associate Professor Dr. Le Van Hao, Head of the External Assessment Expert Team, Dr. Nguyen Van Duong, Director of the Center, and Associate Professor Dr. Le Van Huy, Rector of the University of Economics, signed the Memorandum of Completion for the official survey.
With a professional, serious, responsible, dedicated, and objective approach, over four days from October 8 to October 11, 2025, the External Assessment Expert Team completed the entire survey program to evaluate the quality of two undergraduate programs: Accounting and Business Administration, and six master’s programs: Accounting, Development Economics, Economic Management, Business Administration, Finance - Banking, and Economic Statistics at the University of Economics.
The External Assessment Expert Team, led by Associate Professor Dr. Le Van Hao, presented a preliminary report on the survey results.
The team reviewed the self-assessment report, verified the supporting documents provided by the University, and conducted direct interviews with the University’s leadership, heads, and staff of functional units, as well as leaders, lecturers, and support staff from the Faculties of Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Banking, Finance, and Statistics - Informatics. The team also conducted interviews (both in-person and online) with nearly 250 stakeholders, inspected the University’s facilities, including offices, classrooms, practice rooms, library, sports area, and dormitories. Based on this, the expert team provided scientific and accurate assessments of strengths and offered practical recommendations to improve the quality of the six master’s programs and two undergraduate programs.

The strengths of the training programs and the University as a whole, as affirmed by the External Assessment Expert Team, serve as significant encouragement and motivation, fostering confidence and inspiring the University’s staff, lecturers, support personnel, and students to continue excelling in their achievements and strive for further improvements to enhance training quality.
With an open-minded approach, the University sincerely acknowledges all comments, evaluations, and recommendations from the expert team regarding areas and activities that need improvement to better meet the requirements of the quality assessment standards and criteria. The entire University staff, faculty, and students recognize that quality assurance is an ongoing, continuous process with no endpoint, requiring constant improvement in every phase to align with societal development trends and better meet labor market demands. Based on the responsible and professional feedback and recommendations from the expert team, the University and its faculties will thoroughly review all aspects of their operations systematically, develop action plans, and allocate sufficient resources to address shortcomings with the highest effort, demonstrating a strong commitment to fulfilling the quality assurances of the University and each training program.
