INTRODUCTION TO THE FACULTY OF STATISTICS AND INFORMATICS
The Faculty of Statistics and Informatics was founded in January 2005. It was originally the Division of Statistics and Planning in the Faculty of Economics, Da Nang University of Science and Technology, founded in 1975, and the Division of Statistics, Da Nang University of Economics campus, established in 1985. In 1990, the Division was renamed to Statistics - Informatics, Da Nang University of Science and Technology.
PERSONNEL
The Faculty has 22 staff members, including 11 PhDs, 02 PhD candidates and 07 Masters. Most of the lecturers were graduated from developed countries.

EDUCATION
The Faculty offers two programs at the undergraduate level and a program at the postgraduate level.
+ Undergraduate programs:
- Bachelor of Economic Statistics
- Bachelor of Management Information System
+ Postgraduate program:
- Master of Economic Statistics
Modes of study:
- Full-time for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs
- In-service for undergratue programs
Annual enrollment for full-time programs:
- At undergratue level: 250-300 students
- At postgraduate level: 10-20 students
FACILITIES FOR TEACHING AND LEARNING
Our students are educated with modern teaching and learning facilities, such as self-study labs, a university-wide Wi-Fi network, textbooks and a digital library system with regularly updated foreign language books, an e-learning system, and convenient online learning management systems.

In addition to the opportunity to participate in various University-level clubs, students of the Faculty are invited to join the Faculty-level clubs to improve their IT, soft, and English skills, such as Infotech, iDesign, and English Club (TalkClub).

The Faculty has always emphasized strengthening cooperation with enterprises, agencies and organizations. It provides opportunities for students to join the practical activities of recruiters through placement, internships, seminars, scientific research, etc. Businesses, agencies and organizations are also invited to advise the Faculty on developing education programs to best meet the human resource requirements in the modern social. In addition, through industry cooperation, students have opportunities to receive many valuable scholarships to encourage study and scientific research from the Faculty’s partners.
