When asked about her first impressions upon arriving in Germany, Nga said: "Those are truly unforgettable memories for me. I came to Germany on a autumn morning in September, the weather was cold, the sunlight through the foliage was gradually turning yellow. When I got out of the airport, I saw the car of Westphalian University waiting to take me and my friends home. The distance to the place is far but very beautiful, I am really impressed with the modern and ancient style of the cities here.”

The Westphalian University of Applied Sciences is located in the German city of Gelsenkirchen. This is a university that has a close relationship with the University of Economics - UD. Every year, Westphalian University offers many exchange scholarships to outstanding students of the College of Economics. Thuy Nga shared that during her time studying and experiencing in Germany, Nga noticed a lot of similarities in educational methods and access to knowledge between the two universities. In addition to the theory classes, Nga and her classmates also attended seminars, the main purpose of this seminar is for you to discuss and exchange the issues learned in the theory class. In these sessions, you are free to state your opinions and give arguments to defend your point of view, thereby training students to think critically. In particular, in some subjects, you also get practical experience by doing consulting projects for the company, learning through software, being divided into groups to give presentations and make essays. In addition, the teachers in the class also support students very enthusiastically, the main language that the lecturers use in the class is English, any student who has questions can discuss directly with the teacher to get the best help.

During her exchange trip in Germany, Thuy Nga also had the opportunity to meet, make friends and interact with students from all over the world. This has helped Nga improve her English, she also learned basic German communication sentences. Not only that, Nga shared that she also had the opportunity to learn and experience the culture of her country and share the culture and traditions of Vietnam with international friends.

At the end of the trip, Thuy Nga shared: "The trip has brought me a lot of useful knowledge, I have access to new learning methods, connected with friends around the world, had the opportunity to learn. to experience neighboring countries in the European Union. I hope when I return to Vietnam I can promote and apply the knowledge I have learned and inspire the next students.”
