Student of the Faculty of Finance won the second prize at the 2018 Student Conference on Scientific Research at national level
On the afternoon of October 27th, the Ceremony of summarizing and awarding students who have conducted scientific research took place in Hue City (Thua Thien-Hue). This is the award given by the Ministry of Education and Training in coordination with the Ministry of Science - Technology, the Central Youth Union, the Vietnam Union of Science and Technology Associations. The event took place from October 25-27, hosted by Hue University. There are a total of 389 topics of 88 units in 6 fields registered with nearly 950 students participating. After the preliminary round, 291 topics have been selected to attend the final round and be considered for the awards.
Finally, the organizers awarded 9 first prizes, 49 second prizes, 96 third prizes, 137 consolation prizes. In which, the topic "Influence of liquidity on stock price informativeness of companies listed on the Vietnamese stock market" by student Le Nguyen Phuong Tram (Faculty of Finance, University of Economics - University of Danang) with the guidance of Dr. Dang Tung Lam excellently won the Second Prize at the closing ceremony. It is known that the above topic of Le Nguyen Phuong Tram also won the First Prize at the 2017-2018 Student Conference on scientific research at University of Economics – UD. This is a worthy achievement for the process of researching in recent years by student Le Nguyen Phuong Tram, and at the same time demonstrating the correct strategy of developing scientific research, especially promoting research in the community of young scientists of the University of Economics – University of Danang.
