    Programme Outcomes (POs)

    After graduation, Financial Technology students will be able to:

    • In-depth knowledge of finance and technology applications to become experts and managers in the field of financial technology in various organizations. (PO1)
    • Possess creativity and entrepreneurial spirit related to their area of study (PO2)
    • Engage in lifelong learning to adapt to rapidly changing financial and technological environments. (PO3)

    A Programme is designed with the aim of motivating students to comprehensively develop their knowledge, skills and attitudes. Graduating from Financial Technology programme, students have ability to:

    PLO1: Apply fundamental knowledge of economics, business, and laws to to solve practical issues.

    PLO2: Apply knowledge of financial technology in various business contexts.

    PLO 3: Develop action plans of Financial Technology development in businesses and other organizations.

    PLO 4: Proposing technology solutions to solve financial issues.

    PLO 5: Synthesize knowledge as a foundation to carry out Fintech start-up activities.

    PLO 6: Perform effectively communication skills.

    PLO 7: Demonstrate English proficiency in globalized working environment.

    PLO 8: Deploy and administer information technology applications in the financial sector.

    PLO 9: Demonstrate a commitment to standards in professional codes of ethics and social responsibilities.


    International joint training opportunities:  UD-DUE has signed agreements that allow students to apply joint training programs such as 3+1, 2+2 with those prestigious universities. Students will study phase 1 (2-3 years) at UD-DUE, then transfer to phase 2 (1 or 2 years) and graduate at partner universities abroad in the training system of UD-DUE.


    Career Outcome and higher education after graduation

    Graduates from UD-DUE’s Financial Technology programme, students can work at different positions related to finance and technology in various types of organizations and sectors.

    • Fintech companies, financial service providers, technology research and development companies: financial product developers; financial product managers; fintech project managers; peer-to-peer lending (P2P lending); cryptocurrency trading and management; algorithmic trading experts; open banking consultants; financial data analysts.
    • Financial Consultants at Financial Institutions: Investment analyst; portfolio manager; financial data analyst.
    • Financial Consultants or Researchers at Government sectors or non-profit organizations: Experts in Digital Economy Development Department and other departments related to financial management and control.
    • Start-up in the Fintech industry or work in R&D departments at a Fintech start-ups.
    • Teaching and research in the Fintech field at educational institutions and research facilities.
    • Furthermore, Fintech students are well equipped to pursue post-graduate programs in related fields.
