Professor Avanidhar (Subra) Subrahmanyam - Professor of Finance at the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA, USA) - is an expert in stock market operations and behavioral finance. He is known for his groundbreaking research in the use of psychological principles to explain stock price movements and has published a series of articles in the world's leading economic and financial journals. He is regularly invited to share his expert opinions in the media about the outstanding performance of value stocks and the phenomenon of stock market momentum to analyze fluctuations in gasoline prices, about psychology of "herd" around Apple stocks, ect.

His current concern is fluctuations from the relationships between the stock trading environments of a firm and its cost of capital with the theories of behavior. With more than 40 top-ranked articles (Q1) in the field of finance, 05 textbooks and reference books, his research is considered the bedside document of financial students of all study levels.

Professor Avanidhar is the editor of the scientific journal of Journal of Financial Markets, before that he was Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Review of Financial Studies and the Journal of Finance. Currently, he is also a member of the National Bureau of research groups on microstructure of markets. His research efforts were recognized with the "Best paper awards" award at the Western Financial Association meetings and International Financial Conference in Taiwan. He was also awarded the Smith Breeden Prize for best research by the Journal of Finance (1999). His research on market liquidity is the basis for a series of studies that analyze why transaction fees fluctuate over time and earned him the Fama-DFA award for his outstanding research on investment in the Journal of Financial Economics (2000). He is also a consultant for Nasdaq Stock Exchange, National Exchange in Mumbai, India, San Jose Mercury News and Irwin / McGraw-Hill. He is one of the 100 inspirational characters at the University of California-Los Angeles (UCLA, USA).

 

Professor Mingyi Hung - Professor of Accounting at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Hong Kong University of Science and Technology). She has received her doctorate from the MIT Institute (USA), and is currently the Editor-in-Chief of Accounting Review. In addition, Professor Mingyi is also a member of the Editorial Board of the world's leading business journals, such as Journal of International Business Studies and Journal of International Accounting Research. Professor Mingyi has published more than 30 articles in Top-Tier Journals including Journal of Accounting and Economics, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, Review of Accounting Studies, Journal of Accounting Research , Accounting Review, and Journal of Corporate Finance. Professor Mingyi's research has received Best Paper Awards, such as the Journal of Accounting & Economics Best Paper prize; the USC Marshall MBA Golden Apple Teaching Award; and the Gamma Sigma Alpha Professor of the Year.

Professor Nuttawat Visaltanachoti - Professor of Finance - Director of the Financial Program at Massey University (New Zealand).
