Additional address to study in the UK for UD-DUE students

From 8 to 11th August, the delegation of the University of Economics - Da Nang University includes Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Manh Toan - Principal of School and Assoc. Prof Dr. Nguyen Phuc Nguyen - Head of Science and International Cooperation had a visit and work in Hong Kong with Middlesex University University (United Kingdom). Receiving the delegation of the University of Economics, there were Mrs. Karen Wong - Marketing and Recruiting in Asia-Pacific, Mrs. Kay Yuen and Mrs. Eva Dong - the Curator of International Cooperation and Partnership Development.

At the meeting, the representatives of the two universities said they had agreed to sign the agreement of the Foreign Trade student exchange cooperation. Accordingly, students from the University of Economics will study the first three years at UE-UD and the last year at Middlesex University and receive a degree from the partner school.Regarding the scholarship mechanism, the two sides will also try to create all conditions for reducing tuition fees, living expenses for international students and seeking scholarships for students with good academic achievements.

Another important cooperation agreement promoted by the two universities is a plan to develop a program framework for a number of key UE-UD disciplines with support from the University of Middlesex, especially the partner university will also support faculty to come to Vietnam to teach and participate in workshops and seminars.

On this occasion, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Manh Toan invited the representatives of Middlesex University to attend the 2nd International Education Conference held by the University of Economics - The University of Da Nang in October 2017. The representatives of Middlesex School also confirmed that they will attend the next seminar.

The meeting ended in an atmosphere of excitement, high unity between representatives of the two schools. This is the basis for the two sides to continue to promote a comprehensive partnership, and UE-UD students will also have a prestigious educational institution to study and experience in Europe in the near future.

Although officially named Middlesex University in 1992, Middlesex University has gone through a long period of developing and merging many colleges in north London, starting from the late 19th century until 1973.According to Times magazine, 2015, Middlesex University ranked 2 in the UK for the quality of training as well as the modern level of the university.

Currently, Middlesex University has about 1700 students from EU countries and 1800 students from other countries around the world.
