Expand of cooperation relationship with CFA Vietnam

On the morning of July 15th, the Rector of the University of Economics had a meeting and worked with CFA Vietnam.

 At the meeting, the two sides discussed the organization of the CFA Research Challenge contest. Accordingly, the School and Faculty of Finance are committed to promoting this event communication.At the same time, CFA-Vietnam commits to support the University in advising, orienting and selecting a team to participate in the Final round in September.

Regarding the CFA University Recognition Program (CFA), with the aim of improving the quality of training, in accordance with the professional standards of the Finance industry in the new period, CFA-Vietnam side agreed to support facilitate the Faculty of Finance of the University of Economics to implement and proceed to recognize a number of modules in the Higher Education Program Framework of Corporate Finance, Financial Administration of the Faculty in accordance with the system of Modules of the CFA exam. Through that, it creates conditions for students of the University to participate in the CFA level 1 certification exam. In fact, the Program Framework of the Faculty of Finance currently has a great deal with the CFA Modules, so the recognition of the Program will be fast. The University of Economics committed to communicate to CFA-Vietnam on the web and fanpage of the University.

Regarding co-research, CFA-Vietnam agrees to participate in calling for scholars and speakers to participate and may progress to the co-organizer role for International Scientific Conferences such as the International Conference on Accounting and Finance (ICOAF), held annually in June each year, and the International Conference of Young Researchers in Economics & Business (ICYREB) hosted by the University in October this year. The school will spend a part of the Workshop Program for CFA to introduce themselves. CFA-Vietnam can invite prestigious experts and scientists from around the world to present articles (applied or academic) at the seminar. This is one of the ways to communicate for the CFA in general and CFA exam in particular to the academic community in Vietnam.

Also during the working session, the two sides agreed to support and organize academic exchanges, seminars, talk shows, and workshops related to the field of Finance to share experiences, exchange academics, and improve special training quality for learners who love the Finance field. This is one of the ways to communicate for the CFA in general and CFA exam in particular to students of the University. The Faculty of Finance will contact CFA-Vietnam to inform about extracurricular programs, from which CFA-Vietnam will conveniently consider the time and attendance. The students of the College are very interested in these talk shows and therefore it is a great way to spread CFA to the community.
