Financial investment contest

On June 18, the Faculty of Finance successfully organized a financial investment contest for the 6 teams which got highest score selected from the Investment classes. The judges of the competition include:
1. Assoc.Prof. Vo Thi Thuy Anh – Vice Rector of University of Economics
2. Mr. Le Quang Hai – Senior Broker – Representative of VNDIRECT Securities Company-Da Nang branch
3. Dr. Dinh Bao Ngoc – Head of Financial Investment Division – Faculty of Finance
Stock market which is creating an active investment channel attracts thousands of new investors every day. The financial investment competition is held for all students from 7 Investment class in the 2nd semester of the academic year 2020 – 2021 and each team consists of 3 - 6 members. The selected teams built a portfolio of 5 stocks and started trading stocks and managing the portfolio from April 2 and investment return has accounted until April 29. The return of investment was also one of the factors that consider the ranking of the competing teams. At the competition, 6 teams respectively presented their portfolio and investment strategy. The competition teams not only applied basic investment knowledge but analyzed stocks and evaluated businesses to make their own investment decisions. And then team received many compliments from the judges.
Group 10 was awarded the third prize. The group 10 of the Class 44K15.3 include Nguyen Thi Phuong Thao, Tran Thi Phuong Thuy, Ho Minh Duy, Nguyen Hoai Thuong, Duong Hanh Vy, Vo Thi Phuong Tra
Group 4 was offered the second prize. The member of group 4 from Class 44K15.2 is Doan Xuan Quynh Thu, Ho Thi Ngoc Thuy, Nguyen Thi Dieu Linh, Nguyen Khanh Huyen, Tran Dang My Trinh and the first prize was awarded to group 7 – Class 44K15.1 (including Cap Thi Phuong Nhi, Ho Thanh Hang, Tran Khanh Nghi, Tran Thi Khanh Minh).
