FACULTY OF FINANCE ‘S STUDENTS ACHIEVE HIGH RESULTS IN UNIVERSITY-LEVEL STUDENT RESEARCH COMPETITION OF THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2020-2021
On the afternoon of June 15, 2021, University of Economics - University of Danang held online conference of university -level student research in the academic year 2020-2021 via the Zoom system. Attendees the conference were Assoc.Prof Le Quang Son - Vice President of the University of Danang, Assoc.Prof. Vo Thi Thuy Anh - Vice Rector, Assoc.Prof Le Van Huy - Vice Rector; head of faculties and departments, instructors and more than 150 students.
Implemented from September 2020 until now, the University - Level Research Student Conference has attracted nearly 70 topics. These topics have been defended in front of the Evaluation Council of research student project at Faculty level and 21 best projects of the Faculties have been nominated to participate in the University-level Research Student Conference in the academic year 2020-2021. In particular, 8 topics of 21 chosen topics at the Conference were presented in English by students. This is the result of the integration of the instructors from the Faculties and the support of the functional departments, but above all, it is the constant learning effort of students of the University of Economics to improve their personal development.
At the Conference, the students of the Faculty of Finance excellently achieve high results, specifically:
- First prize with topic: “Do institutional investors improve informational efficiency of stock prices?” was awarded student Dang Thi Hong Ngoc – Class 43K15.1; Instructor: Assoc.Prof Dang Tung Lam.
Second prize with topic: “The temptation of cash. Evidence from high-tech acquirers” was offered students Dao Thi Ngoc Tram and Huynh Thanh Hien – Class 43K15.1; Instructor: Assoc.Prof. Dang Huu Man.
The Faculty of Finance would like to congratulate the success of the students and instructors and hope students to show their creative and confident spirit, and continue to win prizes in the University of Danang and the state -level research competitions.
