On the afternoon of October 1, 2019, at room E204, University of Economics, there was a scientific seminar presented by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Mazur Mieszko (IESEG School of Management, France) on the financial technology topic (Fintech). Assoc.Prof.Dr. Mazur Mieszko has shared a lot of research and practical knowledge about blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, bitcoin systems, ethereum, mining, hashing in blockchain, and the use of cryptocurrencies as an asset to diversify. investment portfolio.

Blockchain technology is evolving at a rapid rate that has attracted research interest as well as a huge influx of investment capital into crypto projects. Blockchains help streamline the internal industry business processes leading to significant cost savings, reduced systemic risk, and improved transaction security in the financial sector. The encryption of real and financial assets will increase the liquidity of these assets as well as increase the overall trading volume, helping to create completely new products and higher profit growth for the entire financial industry.

The seminar received the attention and attendance of many lecturers in the school, international lecturers, and especially lecturers of the Faculty of Finance, along with graduate students.
