Continued with the success of VICIF, DUE orients to ICOAF 2019

Beginning of July 2019 was marked by the success of VICIF organized by Danang University of Economics – University of Danang, VICIF is considered as the biggest Vietnamese conference in Finance. The experts, scholars were extremely impressive with the professional organization, and friendly, modern academic exchange of the world-class conference.

The cooperation in celebrating successfully VICIF confirms the missions of Danang University of Economics – University of Danang that aim to one of the leading educations and research centers in Vietnam, and in ASEAN. In addition, DUE widens our international cooperation network to other universities in Vietnam and over the world. This conference also provides the valuable opportunities for DUE’s lecturers, Vietnamese experts, and scholars to meet and cooperate to foreign scholars. 

Continued with the success of VICIF, Danang University of Economics coordinating with the Global Financial Research Institute at the University of New South Wales (Australia), Massey University (New Zealand) and Aston University (UK) are going to organize ICOAF 2019 on 13th and 14th of July. Through the success of four previous conferences, ICOAF has become the international famous conference organized by Danang University of Economics- University of Danang and its partners. This conference has attracted more than 40 scholars, researchers who come from famous universities in Vietnam and over the world. This conference also welcomes the coming back of keynote speaker, Mingyi Hung, who is the Professor of Accounting at Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Mingyi Hung is also the keynote speaker of ICOAF 2018. ICOAF 2019 also welcomes the first attendance of Joseph Fan as the keynote speaker in ICOAF 2019, Professor of School of Accountancy and Department of Finance of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. 

This year, ICOAF received a total of 72 papers from domestic and foreign scientists, lecturers, especially prestigious scholars in the field of finance and accounting. After the confident and careful review, the scientific committee of ICOAF has selected 30 high quality papers for presenting.

ICOAF 2019 will be a great opportunity for scientists, lecturers at national and international universities to share academic ideas, and receive scientific suggestions, thereby increasing the opportunity for publishing in journals of ISI and SCOPUS. ICOAF 2019 also nurture the global network of researchers in the field of Finance - Accounting and strengthens the cooperation in research of finance and accounting in Vietnam.

With the goal of building a research-oriented university, the University of Economics - Danang University and its partners strive to bring the ICOAF Conference into one of the specialized conferences on Finance and accountant in Southeast Asia.
