Congratulating the faculty of finance students reached high-performing at the conference of scientific research students in the university of economics

On the afternoon of June 10, 2019, the University of Economics - The University of Da Nang solemnly held a Student Conference on Scientific Research for the 2018 - 2019 school year. The conference had the presence of leaders of the Department of of Science – Technology of Da Nang City, Board of Directors of University of Danang, Leaders of Science and Technology Department of UD and Management of Science and Technology Department of member Universities, School Boards, leaders of Faculties, Departments, Centers and lecturers and students of the school.    
The academic year 2018 - 2019 has witnessed the blossoming of research topics from the conference of scientific research students at the faculty level, especially with students learning High quality program. Specifically, there were 310 scientific student projects, 3 times higher than the number of Scientific Research last year. On the basis of the selection from the faculty conferences, 20 excellent topics were nominated for the 2018-2019 school-level scientific research student conference. 
From 5 subcommittees, the Organizing Committee honored 5 projects with the first prize, 5 projects with the second prize and 5 projects with the third prize. Especially, 
Faculty of Finance honored to have 2 projects won the first prize at the Conference:
1. Student group Do Phan Khanh Huyen, Tran Thi Nguyen Thao, "The impact of board gender diversity on firm's risk and firm performance: Evidence of listed firms in Vietnam" - Instructor: Assoc. Prof. Vo Thi Thuy Anh
2. Tran Thanh Toan, "Stock price performance and value creation in Vietnam M&A market: A market efficiency perspective" - instructor: TS. Dang Huu Man
The Conference of Students for Scientific Research in the academic year 2018 - 2019 of the University of Economics - The University of Da Nang took place successfully with the enthusiastic response and participation of the teachers and students. The conference is an annual event in the university's scientific research activities, as well as a playground to stimulate creativity, helping students get acquainted with research work, discover new knowledge, through then apply into practice in future professional work. 
Faculty of Finance congratulates the achievements of the students and instructors.
