"AEC Economic Community, Opportunities - Challenges and Solutions for  Enterprises"

By the end of December 2015, the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) will be formally established, a turning point that marks the full integration of Southeast Asian nations into a viable economic, politics, security - culture, society. Entry into the AEC Economic Community will bring tremendous opportunities to access to a large market area and will pose a great deal of challenges for businesses, particularly those in the region. In order to help businesses integrate actively and proactively, the University of Economics of Da Nang University co-ordinates with the Young Businessmen Association of Da Nang City to organize the Scientific Conference COMB 2015 with the theme " AEC, opportunities - challenges and solutions for businesses ".

This is the 4th Annual Conference on Business and Management (COMB), organized by the two organizations. This workshop will be took place at 7:30 AM on 12^th September 2015 at the 4th Floor, Minh Toan Galaxy Hotel, 306 Street 2/9, Da Nang City. The seminar is a forum for scientists, professionals, managers and business executives to share knowledge, experiences, exchange ideas on opportunities, challenges and solutions to support as well as help businesses integrate actively into the ASEAN Economic Community.

Information about the workshop has been communicated to scholars, scientists and managers, business executives. To 15th August 2015, there has been 60 scientists submitting their entries. The articles were sent to secretary reviewers and selected 54 good quality articles to be published in the conference proceedings. These are the theoretical and empirical studies in various fields of economics, management and business administration, focusing on four main topics: (1) Changes in the business environment under the influence of the AEC - opportunities and challenges for enterprises, (2) Changes in the economic institutions of Vietnam necessary for the development of enterprises in the AEC, (3) Measures to support enterprises to  actively integrate from the Government, (4) Advanced management technologies and solutions to help enterprises improve their competitiveness, actively integrate into the AEC;

More than 150 delegates from universities, research institutes and businesses across the country participated in the workshop. The workshop will be divided into two main topics for scientists to present and discuss: (1) ASEAN Economic Community Opportunities and Challenges, (2) Solutions for Enterprises in the process of integration of AEC . Speakers will present 5 presentations on these two issues.With a large number of participants, we hope the workshop is a great event for researchers and businesses to exchange new ideas, solutions and practical experiences with the business community in the integration process.
