INCREASE COOPERATION IN LOGISTICS: IMPROVING TRAINING PROGRAMMES, DEVELOPING HIGH QUALITY HUMAN RESOURCES

The University of Economics – The UD and its partners agree to deepen cooperation in all three areas, that is, improving training programmes, connecting practise centres, and expanding job opportunities for students, as stipulated in the cooperation agreement signed between the University and Valoma Center For Consultancy Training & Technology Transfer (Valocene) and Global Transport and Logistics Co., Ltd. On the side of the University of Economics, there were Assoc. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Dr. Le Van Huy highly appreciated the participation and advice of associations and businesses in adjusting, making suggestions, and improving the quality of training program. This is the basis for students to access and update their knowledge of the subjects while at the same time grasping information about the industry, job opportunities, and recruitment trends of businesses. The cooperation agreement is a particularly important event, marking a new milestone in the cooperation relationship between the University and the enterprise. With the cooperation agreement, the University of Economics will continue to be a bridge for businesses to recruit high-quality human resources and, at the same time, create many internship, practice, and job opportunities for students after graduation. school.

Representative of the University of Economics and Valoma Center For Consultancy Training & Technology Transfer (Valocene): Mr. Hoang Van Chung (Director) signed a memorandum of understanding including cooperation contents including: building training programmes; cooperation in teaching short and long-term training programmes; building logistics simulation software; internship practise centres; business associations for internship programmes; building exchange centres to change lecturers between schools in the area; building a labor demand data centre; and organizing job promotion events for students.

Following the cooperation signing program, the Faculty of Business Administration cooperated with the VALOMA Association to organize a Seminar on logistics job opportunities. At the seminar, in the presence of associations and businesses in the field of Logistics, the teachers and students of the Faculty of Business Administration analyzed the development potential and increasing labor demand of the industry, as well as improving students' awareness of the preparation required before entering the labor market. As the chair of the seminar, the Department of Business Administration has received comments and suggestions from businesses, related associations, and alumni to improve the quality of teaching and learning.
