University of Economics Signs Cooperation Agreement with Sun Group

On the morning of August 1, the University of Economics - University of Da Nang held a signing ceremony for a cooperation agreement with Sun Group in the fields of recruitment, training, and communication.

Representing Sun Group at the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, Chairman of Sun Group in the Central Region; Mr. Huynh Nam Thang, Deputy General Director of Sun Group in the Central Region and Executive Director of Sun Group; Ms. Hoang Thi Ai Nhan, Deputy Head of the Human Resources Department in the Central Region, along with other company officials.

On behalf of the University of Economics - University of Da Nang, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh, Vice Rector of the University, was present, along with representatives from various departments and faculties: Faculty of Tourism, Training Department, Student Affairs Department, Science and International Cooperation Department, and the Student Support and Enterprise Relations Center.

In his remarks at the signing ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh emphasized that the University of Economics is always eager to expand its network of partnerships with businesses. The collaboration between a prestigious educational institution and a leading enterprise like Sun Group will undoubtedly provide the best environment for students. He expressed hope that this partnership would create favorable conditions for students to acquire knowledge and skills throughout their education and gain practical experience.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Doan Ngoc Phi Anh also expressed a desire to strengthen connections and increase collaborative programs with the company.

Expanding on the cooperation and implementation plans for the future, Mr. Nguyen Van Binh, Chairman of Sun Group in the Central Region, expressed his desire for a close cooperative relationship between the University of Economics and Sun Group from this point forward. He emphasized that the two entities would work closely together to ensure that the cooperation programs are substantive, deep, and effective, particularly in training high-quality human resources to meet the demands of the labor market.

The cooperation agreement between the University of Economics - University of Da Nang and Sun Group includes the following:

- Internship Opportunities: Sun Group prioritizes accepting students from the University of Economics for internships, and the university supports communication about Sun Group's internship programs.

- Recruitment: Sun Group gives priority to recruiting students from the University of Economics, and the university assists Sun Group in communicating recruitment information. The university will also invite Sun Group to participate in its Job Fair.

- Professional Training Coordination: The university will develop and implement short-term training programs for Sun Group's personnel, while Sun Group will provide opportunities for university lecturers to gain practical experience.

- Soft Skills Training for Students.

- Mutual Brand Communication.

- Sponsorship and Support Programs: Sun Group will consider sponsoring scholarships and annual student support programs at the University of Economics.

The signing ceremony marks a significant event for the university in its efforts to enhance comprehensive and in-depth cooperation with business partners, thereby improving the quality of teaching and learning to better meet the needs of businesses and society.
